The next project was made with the Norwegian ski athlete Stinius and supported by Arcteryx. As a Dane, I have always been fascinated by the northern hemisphere’s midnight sun and dark period. I, therefore, wanted to combine ski photography with this phenomenon. The images you see below are taken at the same time of the hour, but the first is in May, and the second is in January.
“Odyssey of Loppa” is a short film project filmed and edited by me and made with the two ski athletes, Lisen Strøm and Thea Kopala Røhme. The project was supported by Rab Equipment and Julbo headwear and covers a 4-day ski traverse in northern Norway.
